Evolution...
In the beginning..
Volleytech Academy was originally started 30 years ago under the name, “Mellonballs”. It was established to provide clinics for the beginner to advanced players. As it evolved, the development progressed into a competitive traveling volleyball club catering to all levels of players.
The Present……
Volleytech houses a beginning clinic for girls and boys ages 8-17 interested in learning to play the game. Teaching basic skills and techniques
with in- house competition drills.
Volleytech also promote AAU level competition teams for the beginners and advanced beginners. This program provides basic skills and techniques, court strategies of offense and defense, court awareness of mind and body and sport specific strength and conditioning.
New this year….
Volleytech has rapidly grown and with growth comes change. Last year we provided a higher level of competition USAV. "PREMIER"
USAV is a competitive level which promotes college recruiting and college scholarships. Along with this level comes a new avenue in club experience “recruiting”. We will be here to educate you and lead you into your adventure of Volleyball recruiting. If you have an athlete that wants to play in college, we are here to promote and lead that athlete down the right path to get noticed. 2017 brings an even larger growth to volleytech and we will be adding a "Strength and conditioning program incorporated into our daily practice schedule offered by our local training facility.. Parizi Strength and Conditioning Training Center. Also with our growth we have our 17 premier team scheduled for 2 out of state tournaments to promote our college prospects for recruiting purposes. Big Growth here at VTA!!!!
