Brenna Pruss - VTA Assistant Director
Responsible for Clinics and Player Development - “Coach B” grew up in Dade City, FL and attended Wesley Chapel High School where she was a four-year standout on her varsity team. She was also a powerful player throughout her six years of club ball. In 2004, her years of dedication throughout high school and club led her to the Space Coast when she was awarded a volleyball scholarship with Division II Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne. She played as an outside hitter and graduated with a major in Psychology and a minor in Business Management. After graduation, she coached high school volleyball in Pasco County for three years and Brevard for one. Brenna began coaching with Volleytech Academy in February of 2016 and has been developing athletes through all programs offered through VTA ever since. She is passionate and excited to continue growing the club and its athletes.
Edwardo Fierro - U10 Mini Club Head Coach
Coach Fierro, known as coach Lalo was born in Mexico City. It was during his middle school years he developed a love for volleyball playing setter and libero for the school team. During high school he was involved in the IPN swimming and Basketball team. during those years, he started coaching private school teams and Teaching swimming at Centro Acuático Integral and Colegio Juan Jacobo Rousseau. He then was accepted in the Superior
Institute of Physical Education to become a PE teacher. He practiced as a PE teacher at some private elementary and middle schools. Coach Lalo moved to the US and due to a language barrier, only plaid adult level volleyball. Now that he is more comfortable, he has joined our VTA family and currently coaches our MINI club U10 team.
Taylor Kroening - Head Coach U12 National
Coach, Taylor Kroening, known to all of us as Coach Taylor was born here in Rockledge florida . She couldn't but help to fall in love with the sport of Volleyball coming from an avid household of athletes and highly competitive volleyball coaching mother! Taylor spent her first six months of life in the Rockledge High Gym and traveling with her mother coaching and directing Cape coast Volleyball club. Taylor excelled at an early age of 12 competing with Cape Coast Volleyball club in the USAV Junior Olympics in Reno leading her team to top 20 in the US on her U12 team! After her season at Cape Coast, she played one more year and then came to play with Volleytech as a 14 year old on the U16 team. When Taylor was 17 she decided to tryout for OVA and played with them for two years. Taylor graduated from Melbourne Central Catholic High School in 2017 as a 4 year letterman. Her position in High school was Setter and Libero and in club she played the same. In 2016 Taylor started coaching at Volleytech with our U11 team and then in 2017 our U12 team. She then took some time off and has currently gotten married and is a wonderful mother to a very active 1 year old named Kinley. Last season Taylor Coached our U13 Silver team and our U14 Team. In her spare tine she enjoys hanging out with her mother, niece and loves doing nail art. This year Taylor will be coaching our Mini Club team AND Assistant Varsity Coach at Melbourne Central CAtholic High School.
