Training sessions here have been so intense lately that by the time I get home, the last thing I want to do is open my laptop for another three-hour lecture. Balancing my court drills with a full course load has been a huge challenge, and during the peak of the season, I found myself so burnt out that I even briefly wondered if anyone actually used an online class taking service just to keep their head above water. I eventually found my rhythm by managed my time better, but it’s a constant battle trying to be 100% present during practice while worrying about upcoming midterms. Seeing everyone’s progress in this group is such a motivator to keep pushing through the exhaustion, reminding me that the grind is worth it both in the game and in the classroom.
